Since
1946
our
Association
has
provided
support
and
social
activities
for
current
or
past
serving
members
of
the
Royal
Australian
Armoured
Corps.
Operating
from
Cambrai
House,
the
Association
provides
on
ground services for our membership including:-
Pension
and
welfare
advice
and
support
for
members
and
referral services where required.
The
opportunity
to
participate
in
regular
commemorative
services
such
as
ANZAC
Day
events,
Cambrai
Parade
and
Luncheon
and
the
10
th
Light
Horse
Old
Boys
Parade
held
on
an annual basis at Kings Park.
Should
you
wish
to
attend
we
conduct
a
number
of
social
functions
during
the
year,
recent
events
included
Christmas
in
July,
Tour
of
the
Leighton
Gun
Battery
site,
Tour
of
ADF
historical
sites
and
museums
in
Victoria,
local
bus
trips
to
interesting
sites
around
Perth
and
in
country
areas.
In
addition,
we
hold
two
functions
per
annum
at
Cambrai
House.
We
also
have
a
library
service
operating
from
Cambrai
House.
All
of
these
activities
are
of
course
designed
to
gather
people
together
with
like
interests,
share
a
few
memories
“the
older
we
get
the
bolder
we
get”
as
they
say
and
provide
a
hospitable
and
social
network
for
all
of
our
members.
